I’m creating this art projects on a piece of wood in which I want to rout the wood with lines to create the look of it having 12 equal squares to it. I also want to rout the edges to give it a nice clean look. My question is which do I do first? The edging or the squares? If I cut out the straight lines for the squares and go all the way to the edge, will that affect my sides when I go to edge it on the sides? If so how do I do this?
