How does “jigsaw” make the traps in the saw series?

yeah i think john was a genius and i think he had some help.

Well, actually. John designed most of the traps in the saw series, but Hoffman was revealed to have helped him set up each trap in saw 5. Obviously someone MUST have been helping him, John was a 52 year old man, he couldn’t have captured each one of the people and thrown them into the traps by himself. John designed each trap himself, but his lackies (ie, Amanda and Hoffman) helped him get the victims into them.
