Does anyone know where I can find free woodworking plans for a beginner?

    Also check your local library for woodworking projects books along with back issues of woodworking magazine you can still get them for a library card and return them when they are due and yes you xeuox copy the project too. in between that time

  3. Try a blanket chest. Also known as a hope chest. If you think about it ,plans are not necessary. Just simple pencil drawings with accurate measurements are all you will need. Impress your instructor and make your drawings really nice. Print them out on the computer with a lumber/hardware list.
    I have just finished a chest for a friend of mind . I have been a cabinet maker for a long time , but i used no plans what so ever. A chest is just a box with a lid really . After that its just a matter of adding moldings and trim
